Well, I haven’t kept up on my blogging lately because we have been really busy. Here’s what we have been up to:
Sept 18, 2008 – My sister married Shad in the Jordan River Temple. It was a lovely occasion and the first time I was a bridesmaid. Sadly, I hope it is the last time as I don’t like being told what I have to do/wear (shocking I know). Anyway, they had a lovely honeymoon in Mexico and are settling in their apartment in Layton.
Sept 19, 2008 Mitch came down with a nasty cold which has lingered for over a week. I learned that he is okay patient when he is sick. He doesn’t get too grumpy or ornery, but he also doesn’t sleep well at all. This translated into me not sleeping well and unfortunately, I do get grumpy and ornery. Benadryl is our best friend.
Sept 24-26, 2008 I had CPE for work down at the Alpine Country Club. It was boring and made me hate my job even more, but it had to be done. Luckily, we got to leave at 12:30pm on Friday which almost made up for the daily almost two hour commute. I got home just in time for my cold to take effect – boo!! Luckily mine only lasted a few days.
Sept. 27, 2008 We gave notice at our apartment and started more intently looking for a new place to move. We both can’t wait to be rid of the apartment complex as it is now under new management and we suspect our neighbors our drug dealers. Then we went shopping to use up some of our gift cards from our wedding. We got numerous items including an ideal storage bin to organize my craft supplies. Which I spent the next hour organizing to my little heart’s content. It was amazing!! That night we attended the Utah vs. Weber football game with Mitch’s family. It was good times especially since the U won!! It is also fun because my parents have tickets in the next section over, so I get to see them too!! Go family!!
Sept 28, 2008 We had family dinner at Mitch’s. It was delicious and we had some rousing conversations about Cindy Lou Who, Metrosexuals, and John McCain. This is what happens when we let Mitch’s mom get on the internet and start reading articles. Good times!!
And now you are up to date.
